Great news. We reached a tentative agreement regarding wages last night!!!! At 11:30 after 13 hours of bargaining.......

I'd like to quickly thank those that put in the long hours: Dan CannCasciato, Wendy Bohrson, Karen Gookin, Peter Gries, Keith Lewis, Brenda Hubbard and Ed Taub. As usual, we worked well as a team.

I would also like to thank all the stewards, members, and faculty at large that participated in the faculty rallies last month. Your time and assistance was invaluable.

Please review the enclosed summary and tentative agreement documents.Take a good look at the summary document before delving into the actual contract language. Also, check out the ratification procedure - we will be holding ratification meetings next week that will be a good opportunity for you to learn more. In addition, there will be a stewards meeting tomorrow, so the stewards should understand the newly bargained agreements and will be able to answer questions on friday.

The bargaining team is very happy with the package we TA'd. It's a significant upgrade of the CBA and our salaries.
